I would like to start this post by adding a link. I wouldn’t recommend this to anyone too freaked by “creepy crawlies,” but I think in all the ugly, this dude is pretty damn cool. I *think* it’s trying to be a spider?
I found that while getting some references for some strange pieces I want to try to make. In all the weird, ugly, and even sometimes disturbing things of the world, I can find inspiration. Check these out. How would you feel about a platypus, chameleon, or even a happy face spider? Yes, the last one exists. Look it up, my friend. You’re sure to have a giggle. These are cool, unique creatures. You don’t see them too often, and I like that. I like different. Be different yourself! I’m not saying you have to carry around venomous spikes on your heels or grow a smiley face on your butt, just get INSPIRED from that to do your own thing.
I would have loved to give you some pictures with this, but I don’t want hate mail coming at me for using someone else’s pictures… That still happens, right? I don’t want to be the next victim fallen because I posted the happy face spider! So instead, I just gave you some links TO pictures. Sorry.
